Fostering tiny lives makes a huge difference. Right now, shelters and rescues all over the country desperately need foster homes to temporarily care for kittens until they’re old enough to be adopted.

Fostering is an incredibly heartwarming experience that makes a world of difference and saves lives. Best Friends (and lots of other shelters) will support you every step of the way, providing food, supplies, advice, and medical care while you foster.

How to Help Your Foster Cat Get Adopted Faster

Shelters, rescues, and foster homes are full of kittens and cats waiting for homes right now. So the faster we can get our foster cats adopted, the more lives we can save.

When potential adopters meet foster kittens, the kittens are either in wild mode, zooming all over, or sound asleep. And when you foster adult cats, sometimes they hide or take time to warm up to new people. So it's a great idea to have video at the ready to show off all the facets of their personality.
